Took our Prolite Escapade for a little trip out this weekend, over the 266km round trip we averaged 12.1 L/100km (165miles/19.4mpg) at a steady 100km/h (60mph) I'm pretty happy with that considering the trip out was into a pretty strong headwind. Loaded up the trailer tipped the scales at 2700lbs

Nice trailer. Going to look at specs now, can the sofa be used as a bed ?

Thx. Can you remove those seat back cushions ? I wonder how long the wait is for new...
Yep, removeable and washable. We looked at buying a new one back in September 2021 and anticipated delivery at that time was June 2022, managed to find a lightly used 2017 model local so snapped it up.

Way to go! That’s nice mileage…and a nice set up. Hope you enjoyed the trip. Beautiful BC 😉
Great trip thanks, not too far for the first few outings while we shake things down. I'm pretty happy with the mileage all things considered

Toilet with separate shower, no A/C don't really need it up here.

Very nice. My wife has informed me that if there is ever any hope of her going with me on a camping trip in a trailer like that the trailer need a toilet, shower and A/C. WifI is strongly suggested. We are mid atlantic and in her defense it does get pretty muggy in the summer

If we lived anywhere else I would probably get AC, we may do eventually anyway as we are planning longer desert bound trips in the next few years. We spent almost 25 years tenting together before we bit the bullet and prioritized comfort over low cost. Onboard toilet and a bed that stays in place all the time were definitely essential for us, this unit ticked all the boxes, only thing I will add in the short term is a stand alone solar set up and maybe a wifi hotspot as the wife can work remotely.
