For those that are financing their Maverick....I am sure the Fed raising the interest rate has something to do with it...

Navy Federal is still at 4.5% as long as you and any co-signers are over 800. Locked mine In today. Was going to wait until the truck popped built but decided to jump before next increase.

Next see if Ford credit will beat it but I doubt they will touch it.

There usually isn't a lot of work. Just a quick FB registration. My dealer pulled up the code when my truck was in. Two minutes work for $500. You'd have to be a fool not to do it.

Wish I could do Farm Bureau too, but it cannot be combined with my X-Plan.
Given my build and my dealer's $599 DOC fees, X-Plan saves me $569.01 (off truck) and $499 (off DOC) for a total savings of $1,068.01.

I got a Ford mailer today... If you want to know what ISN'T selling, it appears to be:
2023 Ford Escapes...0.9% for 36 months, PLUS $1000 "Trade Assist"
2023 For Explorer XLT ...0.9% for 36 months, PLUS $1000 "Customer cash"
2023 Ford F-150...1.9% for 36 months, $1000 Trade Assist AND $500 customer cash.

The 2023 Bronco Sport got a mention, but no discount financing or offers...(YET).

I've seen this posted on here a lot - the Farm Bureau thing.
Sounds like all the coupon codes online for things that just don't work.
Even if it works - which in your case it hasn't - seems like a lot of work for $500.

You have to make the time and apply and pay for the membership. It has not been a full 30 days for me so I'm not surprised it's not working. Pretty simple process to pay $20 and save $500

Unfortunately people bailing on their orders doesn't get anyone their truck faster. If a customer abandons their order the dealer still keeps it in place so they can sell it retail. What I'm saying is that the queue doesn't get smaller, it stays the same.......Ford should have required a non refundable deposit to them directly, not the dealership when placing a Maverick order and it would have helped with fighting flippers and people ordering 4 or 5 different Mavericks from different dealers in order to ensure they got a Maverick.

non refundable deposit would be fine as long as in return Ford gives you the guarantee that your vehicle will be made with X amount of time and if not then they give you back 2x your deposit. It's a two way street.

I get that fuel is expensive but unless one is doing a s**t-ton of only city driving daily for the most part the ecoboost makes more sense. Only a few MPG less hwy and the option to get 2x the towing capacity sold me when I ordered mine. 4,000lb towing would haul a pretty nice RV travel trailer for my wife and I down the road when we decide to spring for one. 2,000lb rating doesn't tow much more than a light boat/trailer or a tent trailer.

I agree that the EB makes sense for YOU. I don’t tow a trailer very often, and when I do, it’s a small rental. People towing larger loads probably shouldn’t get a Maverick at all. The Ranger I currently own (2011 XLT 4x4 6 cyl), I got in 2012 because it wouldn’t tow the guys camper through the mountains. Some folks have different needs.

According to "my" salesman at the local Ford dealership, they can't GIVE AWAY the '23 Edge. Lots of them in their "loaner" fleet...

Yeah, but none for the Maverick yet. They are still selling well relative to all the other Ford models with the incentives and promotions.

Don't get the wrong Idea here. I love hybrids. A GREAT trouble-free experience with the 2005 "truck of the year" the 2005 Hybrid Escape convinced me to buy the Maverick. I didn't even shop around.

I'm not quite to the point of regret, but gosh darn it, this version of the hybrid isn't living up to it's great-grandfather.

It just does not feel as "strong" and robust as the original. I actually talked to an EV design engineer in the Silicon Valley area who agreed. His comment was "we'll never see a hybrid built as well as those generation ones."

I think Ford had a lot to prove and a fear of failure in 2004-2005 that's not there now. So they put the best they could into their very first Hybrids.

I think the era of Hybrids is starting to sunset. ICE will remain a low production number "option" and EV's will rule in 10 years.

Makers will have disincentives to manufacture ICE cars and trucks, maybe a cap on numbers that can be built each year, thus low availability will drive up prices and there will be ADM on ICE units.

Just my prediction. But the writing is on the wall.

I picked up my 23 Lariat hybrid on Tuesday and was talking to the sales manager about how the ‘24 orders were going while doing my paperwork. He said they were allocated 32 for ‘23 and when I went in on 9/16/22 at about 3 pm I was the 30th order that day. He said as of Tuesday they only had 25 orders for ‘24 and their allocation is up to 75.

Same story. Went in to order a 24 on Tuesday (the week after the banks opened) and the dealer told me I was number 20 of 60 allocations and that most of the orders they did have were roll overs.
