June 17 hybrid XLT 360 lux alto $27,050 includes shipping. Not in production but finally scheduled Dec 6, bumped to Dec 20. I expect it to get bumped more.

What is worse is I feel sorry for all people whose hybrids are built but still sitting at the factory. EPA was issued a few weeks ago but this continued shipping delay did not happen when the eco got its official MPG. That should be another poll.
6/25 order date...alto blue, xlt, hybrid....as of now build date is dec 20...but that is christmas week

Ordered July 5th, XLT, LUX, 360, Sliding rear window, CGM. Confirmation email and FITS email nothing else. Salesman has told me that my build has been 'viewed" by Ford, moved priority 2 and still I sit waiting. From everything I've read about scheduling it seems to comes down to allocations for a dealership. I can't understand how some folks have ordered in October and have a build date already when they're June and July orders not fulfilled yet. Allocations it just got to be allocations! What really pisses me off is all the damn stock Mavericks showing up when there's retail orders getting passed over to fulfill those stock orders! That's not right in my book! OK I'll now I will get down off my high horse and stepdown from my soapbox! Until next Thursday, peace ✌!

I will help your soapbox...A dealer should inform buyers about their orders vs allocations. Everyone seems to like Bartz at LM, but my dealer has about 100 orders while LM has 3 or 4 times that amount. Someone who ordered in Oct can jump way ahead of someone else who ordered back in July with Bartz. He should have warned people about this. He does not do his videos just out of the kindness of his heart for free, there are clicks, commissions and Christmas bonuses involved.

This old fashioned allocation attempt to be fair to dealers is very unfair to consumers.

June 21st, XLT hybrid lux cgm. No build date yet...

I'll jump if I can find a low mileage crew cab f150 or ranger for the right price... Unfortunately the right price is unobtainable...

I started looking for a car in March, and watched used prices skyrocket right in front of my eyes, them I found the Maverick that tickled off every box... Unfortunately, I need to make availability a new box...

So sorry to hear! Your order is a perfect example of bad communication from Ford and its dealers. Yes we get it the world is different but communication is easy with emails.

In the Ford letter that gave us the free stuff, there was no apology for the hybrid delay. It said "Your 2022 Maverick Hybrid pickup will be delivered next year, and rest assured that we'll continue to keep you updated." Lots of hybrids with lux packages were scheduled ahead of you. You being one of the first hybrid orders, with I am sure no real reason given for your added delay, is an example that none of us can really rest assured while Ford breaks their promise to keep us updated. Next year can be Jan or next summer for your June order.

Just curious, what is the oldest order on here not in production? Pot your order date, model, and specs.
This is a useless thread since we know there are folks who ordered on day 2 not even scheduled.

7/15 Catus Grey XLT, Lux pkg, Pilot 360. Not a word from Ford at all. Got my dealer looking into status.

Honestly, this thread is kind of useless with posts of those who are in various stages, and would be better (if at all) to just list those of us with nothing...no vin, no production scheduled date, nada.

In my case June 11th, XLT + Lux + Sun roof + Co Pilot 360, Hybrid w/Area 51. On July 15th I changed it to Lariat + Lux + Sun roof + Co Pilot 360 in Hybrid w/Cyber Orange. On that date my order showed priority 2.

Since then, nothing. No Vin, no nothing. Have to admit, I let myself actually think that today might be the day. Oh well.

Right now, I don't need it, and really won't need a new vehicle until next May or so. But I am irritated, not because it might be in May but because the process seems so random. While I don't care (that much) that I don't have it NOW, I do care that I have no freaking idea of when (if at all) it will happen.

The trouble with looking at cars/trucks is that when I started, I didn't really need one...but after looking at things it gets the "I want it" juices flowing. I'm at the point now where if things weren't so tight on other vehicles, I would have likely moved on from the Maverick. I still might do that.

I wouldn't blame Ford for the lack of communication, I would blame their allocation system. Since joining the forum I've learned how it works, and might have used a different dealer, but it still probably wouldn't have helped. The other dealer I would've chosen isn't overly huge either, and the others in the area have recently undergone management changes, it have a bad reputation.

For stock orders the allocation system makes sense, but when it comes to the retail orders, Ford is going to hurt the little guys, while rewarding dealers who are selling on price alone. These dealers are arguably stepping on the toes of other franchise owners, and honestly provide very little value to the sales process, other than a low cost to the customer.

I think these dealers do have their place, and I don't blame them for doing right by their investor(s). Ultimately Ford needs to fix their system. Until then I'll wait. That is until I get my Maverick, I find an alternative daily pickup, or I find a beater truck and get a gently used Lexus.

It is what it is...

I asked my dealer what the real reason for the delay and he and told me he does not believe the EPA is still an excuse but Ford has not even told him why. He seemed a little upset because with so few cars to sell, this is holding up his commissions. Seeing his bare lot, I actually feel bad for him.
