Monroney window sticker for a 2022 Maverick XLT reveals:

22 city / 25 combined / 29 highway MPG

Note: good point made by @zackmd1

Keep in mind that the 4K tow package includes a final drive of 3.81 instead of 3.64 so non 4K tow models might break that 30mpg barrier.

For reference -- Santa Cruz's MPG compared:

2.5L I4 -- 21 / 27 mpg (23 mpg combined)
2.5L FWD -- 21 / 26 mpg (23 mpg combined)
2.5T -- 19 / 27 mpg (22 mpg combined)

The $500 over 5 years figure seems a little unfair considering it is compared to the average vehicle. Compared to vehicles in class, the Eco Boost would only be second behind the Hybrid Maverick.

The window sticker says it's based on 15,000 miles per year at $2.35 per gallon. If anything is unrealistic it's the fuel price. The National Average is $3.18 per gallon.

I just want to see a Hybrid Window Sticker. That's what I'm buying.

Yea and gas prices are only rising as well. I think its 3.55 here where im at for low octane. And the maverick with the ecoboost should probably be getting high octane. Although ill read what the manual says to use as well. Im guessing the hybrid one will come out very soon if the window for this one just released.

I hope ford is underpromising, and that this thing gets 32 or more easy.

No. Not on the 2.0. honestly I'd like to pitch a fit at Ford over it. It's bull, especially given the way it was worded when I ordered.

Same, I misread the package details and removed the $115 option from my build that was scheduled last week. Oh well, I'll see if my dealer can accommodate.

Yes and they way things are going I see gas prices going even higher. As much as I’d like to have the 2.0 the hybrid makes more sense for me.

I did the same, asked my dealer if they can add it for the same cost. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

I have to say I really do not like these might be hitting the road without a crash test/safety rating to go off. Thats really my main concern at this point.
