That's what I'm trying to convince myself looking at some of the dates that were scheduled today. My 7/21 order has to be soon. But now that all is dependent on December allocations and scheduling. Is there going to be a cleanup week next week? How many allocations are going to be available? When will those be scheduled? So many questions to cry myself to sleep at night. If there is truly any logic in scheduling, you should be next!
Wow! An 8/6 order from Chapman and my current build is the same (CG) minus the sunroof and is still unscheduled. I made a change to the order in October and hope that isn't what is pushing my build back.Ordered 8/6 and was scheduled today for Jan 31st build week.
Tom already sent an email regarding the drop ship and asked to confirm the dealer ID again. So if anyone moved or is switching local dealers for shipment you should have a chance to relay that information to Chapman ahead of delivery. This only applies to orders placed before they stop doing the courtesy delivery option.
Tim @ Long McArthur seemed to say that these allocations - 118 for him, 89 for Tom - are COMBINED November and December. But now that all is dependent on December allocations and scheduling.
I sure hope not. @fordvideoguy - Any insight into this?Tim @ Long McArthur seemed to say that these allocations - 118 for him, 89 for Tom - are COMBINED November and December.
ah, that is super disappointing if true :/Tim @ Long McArthur seemed to say that these allocations - 118 for him, 89 for Tom - are COMBINED November and December.
Unfortunately they stopped courtesy drop shipping. You can always have it shipped from Chapman to your location via www.uship.comHello,
I ordered from Chapman and I live in Virginia. I don't know anything about this drop ship. Is there a cost to it? Do they go over it at Chapman first (clean, gas, make sure everything is alright)?
Thanks!
Ed has been very good with answering my emails, worked to change my options and packages. This is why I ordered through them (a 2 -1/2 hr drive for me) rather than a local dealer 15 minutes away that treated me like crap.Ed only has around 100 orders
Dealerships have local cultures. Some will be service oriented toward the customer. Some won't give a crap about anything but making money.Ed has been very good with answering my emails, worked to change my options and packages. Like some that have posted here with tire pressures not set correctly..Dealerships have local cultures. Some will be service oriented toward the customer. Some won't give a crap about anything but making money.
