So i emailed my dealer asking about this month allocation. He tells me they are not scheduling hybrids right now. and may not be that way until spring. ( not saying this is true just stating what he said)

Is there any chance this thing get scheduled anyways. even though he believes they are not scheduling them! ( FYI im a priority 2)

should i put in a 2nd order with another local dealership. ( i feel like this should have been done back in june)

Anyways this is so frustrating. How can people in this form get scheduled but he says they not scheduling any.

Also i asked if he was talking about retail orders and he said any hybrid.

anyways thanks for any help or guidance.

thanks

I have missed the discussion, why specifically hybrid on delay, parts and chips?

No one knows. The only thing Ford has consistently said is that hybrids will be between 30-40% of production. Hybrid orders are thought to be about 60-70% of all orders. That's causing a bottle neck that makes getting a hybrid scheduled take longer.

For the dealers saying things like this, I think it's potentially two things:
-They, specifically, are not getting hybrids scheduled as part of their allocations (so far)
-Hybrids can't be ordered for dealer stock.
From there, given these constraints, I think it's a big game of telephone that ends up sounding like "hybrids aren't available" to the consumer.

Yeah just super frustrating. Guess no hope for a scheduled email if my dealer says they not scheduling any. oh well be a nice present coming out of the winter i guess. hopefully my current car holds on till then.

Or your dealer is trying to get you to switch to an Ecoboost that he can get much faster and be able to make a sale faster. Just a guess.

Ford is limiting hybrid production to 40% of available slots (from what I understand). Ford has more hybrid orders than ecoboost, so ecoboost get scheduled faster, in general. Add to that the fact that hybrid orders are limited by region, and you end up with not all dealerships getting hybrids scheduled every week.

If you can live with adding it later, I believe the tri-fold cover is listed under constraints right now. Might be worth taking it off your build.

Isn't there someone on here that can get a official response from Ford? Ford has to be monitoring this forum & not saying a word. We're big boys & girls & can take the truth. If spring is true, than tell us.

Since I live in California w/ the most Maverick orders, I’m thinking now I most likely won’t get a build scheduled until early spring…March/April! Glad I’m not in any dire need of a new vehicle at this time…..and I love my current Niro.

They basically have. They listed the hybrid as a 40% constraint last week. That's the most they can really say since everything else comes down to so many variables (build, dealer, etc).

Earlier this week my dealer told me my order is "delayed" but they didn't know enough to tell me for how long. Mine is a hybrid XLT with the lux package, which seems to be the least common build getting scheduled, along with first editions. I don't have an urgent need for a vehicle so I'm just going to ride out the slow track. It will be hard to start seeing other Mavericks on the road, though. :(
