Just picked up this beautiful little trucklet this past weekend. She's got all of the OEM fixins except for the sunroof. I couldn't settle for any less, coming from a fully spec'd 2016 focus ST3.
The only negatives I have so far is that I am slightly disappointed in the OEM ford engine and transmission calibration, they make this beast of an engine feel anemic. Thankfully, it looks like the aftermarket is stepping up for this platform.
So far, I have enabled the sport mode via ForScan and installed a Cobb AP with the 93 octane tune and sport transmission calibration. with the throttle map set to mode 5 it feels like the beast it should have been from the factory. The cobb OTS map knocks a bit more than I'm comfortable with at WOT so Tim at MonsterTuned is digging into the numbers to put his Adapt-X tune on this platform.
I am also sitting on BNR71 Turbo and XDI HPFP with 2000cc injectors that I was planning to put on my focus before it was totaled by a distracted driver. I am encouraged by the work I've seen from the pioneers on this forum, but I still have plenty to learn before I commit to anything like that on a brand new truck.
