Hello World,

I bought my '24 Hybrid XLS a few weeks ago. First new car/truck I've ever purchased (used and leases before this). I love it... good to own rather than lease, good to have a truck rather than use my car as a truck. Only down side is the success of this truck has lead to a steep price rise since it first came out, but it's still a good value for me.

Glad to find this forum and all the good discussion. Already made good use of the advice and discount opportunities on a tonneau cover (thanks RT!).

Full disclosure, I'm an engineer at Ford, and have worked on the HV batteries there since the EV Ranger days, including the battery in the Maverick.

What color did you get?

It’s Cactus Grey. I would have been happy with Terrain as well, but all XLT Hybrids with the Lux package in that color on the dealer lots had the Black Package included… which I’m happy to do without and save the cash.
