Hi! New Member here and back into mini trucks. Been lurking for awhile. Wanting a smaller truck for a few years. I liked my 14 lowered 2/3 Denali on 22s but missed the size and experience of my lowered 92 S10 with a 4/6 drop or the size of my 02 shaved Blazer Xtreme w 2/3 on 20s. Chevy / GMC isn't offering a street truck anytime soon. I used to be a heavy contributor over on s10forum from 2002 till about 2013.
Looked online at local dealers on Tuesday which 702a's were on the lots. 2 in my area. One of which was a canceled order. I drove off with it on Wednesday. No wait for me.
Already tinted it out this weekend.
Very much dislike the dinner plate wheels. Looking at black 20" inch rims, 8.5 wide and an offset of around 38 to 40 so I keep them tucked.
I plan to do a mild 2/4 drop on top of the current factory drop. No sure if I want to replace the coil overs or just do springs. I'll lurk threads and see what other folks are doing.
I do fiberglass work so I'll custom mold a couple of 10s under the rear seat. Factory sub behind the seat. Simple enough for a basic audio control lc2i pro to handle.
May do some performance upgrades but I'm more of an all show and no go kinda guy. Just need a reliable daily asphalt surfer to zip me around town.
