New Mabett Side Marker DLR Issue

Has anyone else had an issue with the new side markers and their daytime running lights? I installed them on my 2025 Lariat and they work fine with just the indicator and lock/unlock function, but when I installed the jumper between the lights for the running lights, one DLR remains on constantly, so I just removed that. Mabett took care of me and issued a refund and is looking into it, but was curious if anyone else has noticed this?

Well. You only need to get one connection wrong and stuff like this will happen.

Probably there is a difference in the wires between 24 and 25. I still don’t get it why they need to tap into the headlight instead of just using the parking lights.
