Just received word that my truck has been delivered to Chapman of Horsham. Here’s a copy of the invoice. I applied for financing. Included this invoice because everyone loves all the info they can in these bad boys. I will keep the Chapman buying process documented here if people would like

Yes do keep us updated on the process. I mainly want to know if they drill into front bumper for the license plate. I assume they don't since PA doesn't require front plates. I like others want to use the grill mount install for front plate instead.

I’d probably turn down delivery if they did. I live in MI and no front plates here

I don't know if there is a rule about down payments, but I generally don't like to put a lot down on a lease. Considering this truck is probably going to be worth as much or more as soon as you drive it off the lot, I decided to buy. I think this supply shortage is going to last a while and I think the depreciation is going to be better than what the residual is on the lease.

I guess this would depend. In Michigan, where the OP appears to be from, doc fees are capped at $230. I'm guessing since this is Pennsylvania their laws would apply. I'm assuming he's buying a plate. If so, those plate fees look right for Michigan. If he's transferring a plate, that would be way high.

Payment $270.57 with $5000 down, but $4729 really (since the rest is 1st month)

4729 / 36 (lease term) = $131.36

$270.57+131.36 = $401.93 --- this is your monthly cost. You've just paid $4729 up front and the rest over the 36 months.

I would not do that. I would ask that it be $0 down, first month's due at signing. I don't see the benefit of a large down payment on a lease. Total the truck right away and you've lost that down payment.

Interesting that you were charged for fuel and a lot fee? The fuel should be kicked back to Ford from what I have been seeing and reading online. And not sure what a lot charge is. Would love to hear from others on these upcharges.
