Don't know about the ADM. But I'm curious if the changing economic state will increase the number of people who walk.
I visited a dealership today to check out a hybrid on their lot. The guy who ordered it backed out bc his interest rate was 10.7% apparently

Wow. Even when I was broke, my interest rate was never that high. That's pretty much a step above no loan.

Being an Eco, I wouldnā€™t change anything. Order what you want. Some even add Lux to ā€˜helpā€™ the hitch concern. But they are way under on Eco, so those will all get built.

Anyone disagree with my thought process here? Seemed strange that he wasnā€™t as talkative as he normally is with me.

I ordered my truck on 12/21/22. Every letter that Ford sent the dealer about constraints I removed those options. My dealer felt that my truck would have been built because I had the oldest order and the XLT with no options. Well.......every truck got built but mine. The last truck built was ordered on the last day you could in Jan. '23. It was a fully loaded XLT EcoBoost 2 wheel drive. It was built and mine wasn't. I wouldn't remove any options at this time.
My truck has been built and shipped but the dealer is yet to receive. It is due for arrival the second week of February. Today marks day 400 from my original order at the end of 2021.

It may be true that it will get your Maverick built quicker, but my Maverick reached it "Truck Yard" two weeks ago which is 3.5 hours from my dealership. When it arrived there, they changed my shipped date from 1/15 - 1/21 to 2/12 - 2/18, so just because you will get your Truck built quicker, there's nothing concrete saying that you'll receive your Truck quicker. Just a thought.

Many people will be backing out because of the increased interest rates. Especially those with subpar credit. This could be a good thing or a bad thing for buyers who missed the ordering window. Dealerships can now add mark ups so I'm sure they don't mind. What a mess.

Yeah, I am taking mine, but I was looking forward to the 1.9% locked in interest rate I would've gotten from Ford for a 22. Now at BEST I may get 5% from my Credit Union.

Took off my hitch last year but has made no impact. I have a XL Hybrid with Drop in Bed Liner Priority 10 order on the first day one of the first orders and dealer has allocations however no luck in scheduling. I going to ask the dealer to add CP360 as something I really like they said in the past its not a good idea however from what I seen the last few weeks on the forum the orders scheduled have CP360 and lots with the hitch. Maybe all the XL are going to fleet orders. I not seeing many bare bone orders so would seem Ford prefer to order with packages. I plan to also drop the drop in bedliner even though this is well under capacity.

I wish my dealer would hit me up on things like this once in a while. Last time I heard from him was when i placed the order on 09/16, and I had to contact him about it (Preordered late Feb before that)

I removed the luxury package last year in around August after I was told it could push production into the 2023 model year. I finally did take delivery in mid January. Iā€™m glad to get it, XLT 2.0 liter AWD. The heated seats would have been nice but oh well. I have never had them before living in Minnesota all my life. It saved a couple thousand bucks too. Iā€™m satisfied.

Exactly. I tried getting him to tell me but he kind of just avoided the question
My dealer has all his orders posted on the front window. All have been delivered except mine and it shipped 1/29/23.
