So Sorry!! And to make it even worse, it was the beautiful Cactus Gray!!!!!!!!

I know it happened quickly, but did you notice if what Ford calls the Active Emergency Brake function kicked in or took place?? Just curious.

I didn't want to be the first to say it, but it very likely could be totaled, I'm thinking all that mangled metal above the tire is part of the inter structure (might be the wrong term)......

Wheel, likely tire, possible suspension, quarter panel, unibody/frame damage, bumper cover, hood, >$1k headlamp... And that's just with a quick glance from this angle. Not gonna be cheap, that's for sure.

Were any airbags deployed?

Easily closer to $10k than $5k minimum, if not much higher, without going any deeper than the above.

Less damage than that to a Focus in 2016 was ~$5300, with no airbag deployment.

Makes me sick to see people involved in accidents after the long wait and or paying a dealer markup. Glad no one was injured.

So sorry for your loss. You should think about changing your handle.

This is 5300 dollars of damage to my 2015 Ford Fiesta after a woman ran a stop sign while on the mobile phone. This is just for reference.

Fingers crossed it's fixable! Those inner apron pieces are made to collapse. It looks like the truck did what it was supposed to do.

I would just go buy the doors for $500 or so a piece from a wrecking yard, have em painted, swap your interior panels if they are different colored, and bolt em up myself. May have to use a ratchet strap hanging the doors from a tree to get the alignement just right but no biggie. Maybe $2000 and 4 hours of your time.

As for OPs Maverick, it could be totalled but it didnt look like the windshield was busted and that means something. Fingers crossed.
