This was great to see! Maybe Ford will lift the embargo early since Mavericks are being delivered now. However, the more videos I see, the more I want mine, yesterday! Can't wait for Oct. 11th to get here! Great video! Should be awesome to see what you do to it! I can see the Maverick being a modders delight...
Yeahhhh, I couldn't wait haha

I’m not too familiar with new car launches but it seems a little odd that they would be selling cars before they allow media reviews to be released. Or is this common for the auto industry?
Seems normal. They simply can't time it down to that level, and they can't have the media driving pre production trucks for driving impressions. The result is we'll get some great buyer videos over the next week.

Also subscribed, looking forward to more content!

Love the fuel economy explications. 27-32 in an AWD, that’s awesome.

Awesome, congrats! I’m in November, can’t wait..
- Is it difficult to see over the hood?
- How’s the rear visibility?
- Does the driver’s seat feel too compact?
Not difficult at all, rear visibility is great. The wife was a little upset at first I "settled " for this and not our order. But after driving it she was happy with visibility

Drivers seat feels fine to me tbh

Congratulations! I was told XLT doesn’t come with floor mats. I hope they do. Tell me do they have Writing on them? Waiting impatiently for mine to be built 10/11. 😃
They don't, just basic black mats

Nice, looks like youtubers get the 1st Mavericks for free ad.
I'm hardly a youtuber lol. I just got extremely lucky to be a couple hours from a dealership that had an unclaimed one. The one I had ordered hadn't even started production yet.

Was there a dealer’s markup fee on the price? if yes, how much?

I am assuming you paid MSRP.

I'm waiting on a build date for my Carbonized Grey XLT, 2.0 AWD with Fx4 package, bed extender and spray-in bed liner. I ordered on Aug 24, so I will probably take delivery some time in January. With gas prices going up again, I was wondering if I should scale down and go with the hybrid but the MPG's I saw on the video for your ecoboost AWD have put my mind at ease. A hybrid is nice as a glorified car with a bed, but I also want function and utility so that I can tow a small camper across country as well as coexist in the Andes Mountain towns of Bariloche and El Bolson when I move to Argentina with my wife in a few years, thus the need for the AWD w/Fx4 package. The hybrid just isn't utilitarian enough for me. Looking forward to your future videos, especially on the sound system upgrade.
