Just make sure you take it to a good repair shop. I had a deer shoot out of the woods into the driver side of my maverick and it did a lot more damage than you have in these photos. My Ford dealership recommended a local body shop they take their cars to for repairs and the shop did a perfect job fixing my truck. There is no hint that it was ever damaged. Body shop is the key.
I’m taking Mavi girl in for several estimates today as soon as this rain stops!
Thanks for the suggestion. My buddy said find a union body shop.

Also get your neck and back looked at. You never know with those things.

Can’t believe how much damage there is to the maverick. She hit me hard. The pillar behind the door and the quarter panel is pretty badly mangled, it looks like the rear drivers quarter panel will have to come off to to access the damage.
Her car has rear cross traffic alert but she must have been backing up way too fast before slamming into me hard!! The whole entire truck jerked and shook pretty violently. I was in the truck when this happened.
I woke up with a sore back and neck yesterday morning.
I can’t believe the panel behind the door and the door itself, got so messed up in this accident. Shows how hard she hit me.
That much damage is designed into the car to absorb energy. Your Maverick was hit pretty hard and it did its job to absorb the energy instead of passing it all onto you. unfortunately in a side impact there is not much room to put energy absorbing materials and the protection is not as good as from the front.

For your sore neck and back, please let her insurance company know about it and see a specialist to find out if there are any issues.

FYI, you will be able to get money for pain and suffering, medical bills paid, diminished value, rent car, and all repairs from her insurance.

The pain/ symptoms from those things don't show up till about 3 to 5 days later.

Good advise

Not sure why you are communicating with her insurance company. You should be going through your company who will go after hers in order to be compensated.

Whelp now I’m worried. Doesn’t look like there is hardly a hair out of place on that Mazda. How paper thin are the Mavericks?
All sheet metal is very thin these days. The bumper of a vehicle is designed to take an impact and the sheet metal is not. Doesn't take much to damage sheet metal, unfortunately. Gotta keep them light to get better mpg's and appease the government. Bumper vs unprotected sheet metal always looks similar to this. Not a Maverick thing.

I went to get gas and at the gas station, I was backed into by someone driving a Mazda SUV right into into my drivers side.
It smashed in the drivers rear door, the drivers quarter panel and I was hit hard enough that the painted pillar behind the quarter panel was also dented pretty badly and scratched badly. The rear quarter panel at the line that separates the quarter panel from the roofline is physically and visually bent out of place.
I’m so upset. I waited forever for this truck. I had the front end clear Xpel filmed, which wasn’t cheap at all to have done, to keep her mint… it’s a one year only Velocity Blue…
I kept my truck in the garage all winter to keep her out of the snow and the heavily salted roads around here. She ONLY HAS 1,100 miles!!!
I rode my bike and drove my other car around all summer to keep the miles down on my Maverick Hybrid. I really only use my truck to do truck things. Like take my little aluminum fishing boat out or put the bikes in the back of the bed or a Home Depot run for mulch and whatnot.
I love this color and my truck.
I’m at a loss of words. She backed right into me. She obviously wasn’t checking her mirrors or backup camera… she was an older lady.
She has insurance, thank god. Her car has very little damage to her back end, my Mavi took the worst of it.

1. How will They be able to repair this since the damage is all the way behind the quarter panel?
I don’t want any sort of bondo on my truck and I would rather not have the paint not be the factory finish and I don’t want any kind of aftermarket replacement parts. If there even is any, I doubt it. That’s saying that the parts I need are even going to be available anytime soon. 😢
2. If it gets fixed, will this devalue the truck? If so, by how much do you guys think?
Anyway to get back that diminished value, after the accident value back? It doesn’t seem fair that I got this 2022 maverick that was near impossible and I waited forever to get and now the same exact truck with less stuff that comes with it from the factory is now I believe over $6,000 more expensive on top of the fact that these are selling used for so much more than the MSRP. To be clear I love my truck and I didn’t want to sell it and she’s the one year only velocity blue that they no longer make…
3. Any tips, suggestions I would really appreciate it.

I feel so upset and stressed over this. I can’t believe it happened at a gas station paking lot.

Make sure her insurance company compensates you for the loss in value that will result from the wreck. Once is as listed as being in an accident, dealers and buyers will not give you as much at trade-in or for a private sale even though the vehicle was properly repaired.

I’ve had my Maverick for 1 year and it’s been hit TWICE already.
the first time I was at a stop sign and the girl behind me was texting. $11,000 damage.
The second time I was on a family vacation and I got side swiped, in a parking garage at Mt. Rushmore. $2600 damage.
One more strike and it’s out.

Sad to say, but another victim of braille driving. Thankfully it's not major damage and you weren't standing there filling-up when she backed into you.

If you can keep your insurance company out of it, then it would avoid ā€œan incidentā€ on your policy. While it would be a no-fault and should not count against you, it actually can if you have too many.
