Motorcycle Ramp / Bed Extender - "Compact Ready Ramp"

Compact Ready Ramp works great with my BMW G650GS. The motorcycle has a wheelbase of 58in so straight in there isn't quite enough room for the bed extender to sit on the back of the gate but strapped in it seems to be supported well enough. I love the dual purpose of the ramp.

Yeah, I was so wrapped up in seeing it built that I forgot to take a before picture with the ramp in its extended position. Sorry about that.

Woah woah woah - we are onto something here - you get more space in the bed (no folded ramp) and you can place stuff in the back without it sliding out.

How is it secured to the box in extendo mode? can you take some close ups?

Mine just came in, looked at the parts and pretty confident that I can manage securing it to the truck. Mind posting how you configured the hardware on the readyramp to secure it to the maverick? Thanks!

Not only that, I believe my “order” touched 4 different company/entities for forward facing internet, processing, distribution, and shipping…it was looking scamy, but all worked out in the end.

Have bee using them for years. My R1200GS weighs nearly 600# and the Ready Ramp has no problem. This one is a leftover from my Colorado, the hardware is the same.

Oh Man we may have something here! Is it easy to connect and remove ramp to tailgate? I also find it difficult to load a heavier bike with the gaps in the ramp. Funny I have the same GS and love it! I also have an XT 250 I use for camping and local trails, very light and easy to load.

Nice GS. I use a 6.5' long aluminum channel for loading and transporting my NC750X Honda. Takes the load off the tailgate. But I like that extender.
