This statement by the marketing manager is misleading: “What we are seeing is many of these customers are first time truck owners, we’re seeing roughly over 70 percent of these customers coming out of non truck segments”
Just because the previous vehicle someone purchased was not a truck, does not make them a first time truck owner.
The Maverick will be my 3rd truck, but the first in 23 years. A large family required a 3-row SUV. Now they are all grown and I can get a truck again. In the database, I likely look like a first time truck owner. Not many databases have 25+ years worth of history.
