After the tracker was changed a couple weeks ago, my truck went from In Production on 1/12/23 to Built...and then dropped back to In Production again when the 5th tracking box was added. The modules were populated and active, and since it is a Lariat, FordPass told me that my Sync3 was also updated on 1/12/23. Ford Chat verified that the truck went to the "Mod shop", "Body Shop" or whichever you want to call it on 1/12/23 and returned the same day. I suspect that was for the bed rail cleats. Ford Chat gave me an ETA to my dealer of 2/2-2/8/23. So, done, maybe? But the tracker was not updated, and showed a "Last Updated 1/13/23".
As January went by, and seeing nothing happening in the tracker, I asked my dealership to check VinView for the truck's location on 1/30/23. VinView reported that the truck was:
1. Still at the factory
2. There were no exceptions (like chip holds),
2. The truck had an ETA to the dealership of 2/4/23....at a very specific ETA of 17:58 MST. Only 5 days away?????
The salesman said he thought maybe the truck was in "Deep Sleep" since 1/12/23 and just not updating itself as the train moved along...and once it arrived, everything would magically update once the truck was started. That doesn't seem to be the case.
I checked the tracker again today and while there was no change earlier this afternoon, AFTER that ETA had passed, I checked again and the tracker now shows the truck was "built" today, 2/4/23 and Last Updated now says 2/4/23. Three weeks in Production?
Can anyone make sense of what has happened?
As another question, my Window Sticker shows Ramp One as RU08 and I can find nothing online about RU08. I know trucks headed here normally get off-loaded in Denver, which seems to be RY08. Any insights?
