Minor rear ender or total loss? Answer inside. [Updated with underbody photos of damage]

To all who responded to my post, thanks for your input. Just got pictures of the undercarriage. Check it out.

Here is a picture of my 2022 Velocity Blue Maverick before and after being rear ended. Believe it or not, what seems to be readily fixable was deemed a total loss by my insurance company.

Maybe see if you can buy it from your insurance company, and see if you can get a body shop to fix it.

EDIT: Based on the new photos, I suspect it's highly likely that someone will buy this from the insurance company, fix the damage, and sell it for decent money with a salvage title. That said, the photos may not be revealing all the damage, so maybe more is going on...

That's what I thought. Apparently, the frame was pushed in 31 mm.

Tailgate $1,000 and bumper assembly $700 used parts is result of quick search.
Must be hidden damage. Any visible damage underneath the truck, on floor of bed, on sides of bed or quarters?

I would assume it is still drive able so take it to a body shop if you haven't already and see what the body shop thinks . Just seems strange even with a frame issue it cant be straightened enough for use.

What are you going to purchase to replace the Maverick?

Is your insurer paying you a fair value for your truck?

Thanks for asking. Hardly felt it. I have bumped into cars harder then that when backing into a parking space.
