Maverick Platform for new Transit Connect

I need a Connect next year but would like AWD and better tow which this platform would give

Last I read on this topic was months ago, in a Farley interview IIRC. Said Transit Connect line was moving to Hermosillo, with expected production start in 2023.

So I’m Ass suming Ford has plenty of platforms to go around. It’s just all the other parts in short supply.

I desperately want this. Give me all the power, payload, towing, and offroadability of the Maverick with a high roof and big cargo box. All on the same footprint as the Maverick. Basically I want a Bronco Sport Badlands with the body redesigned for real utility.
