They made 6755 Mavericks in October...much better than predicted!

Hopefully we can continue to see production of the Maverick continue to increase to meet the number of orders + demand for retail units.

I have yet to see one of the Mavericks wild on the street. I have seen one Santa Cruz in the wild parked in a residential driveway. I almost stopped and knocked on their door to see how they liked it. This seems strange to me because I live in a Detroit suburb where a lot of Ford employees live, and you see Broncos everywhere.

I must be reading it wrong because it looks to me like they only recorded some 4,646 Maverick sales YtD by the end of October. Does Ford only count sales upon delivery of the unit to the customer? That's the only way I can figure that number unless I'm just reading it wrong.

I was hoping to see a total for the Maverick orders YtD. Does anyone know if Ford releases that information publicly?

Any idea how many Mavericks are on order?

Since 14k have been built and I ordered 28 Oct, I am at the end of the line.

How many people are ahead of me?

5660 built in September, 6755 built in October. The trend is definitely encouraging. I wonder how the holidays in November and December will affect production.

Only 1/4 of Maverick sales are to people 18-35? Id say they really missed their targeted sales demographic.

It's not as simple as a "line." It depends heavily on the options you ordered and the dealer you ordered from (how many order/allocations they have).

Keep in mind that most of these sales are dealer stock off the lots, and all of them are Ecoboost. It'll be interesting to see the Q1Y22 numbers once pre-orders and hybrids start getting out more.

Edit: should also consider the base rate for 18-35 year olds purchasing new trucks/cars. IDK what it is, but would suspect it's less that 25%.
