This is the question I'd like to ask everyone who tints their front windows and windshield. Does this make the truck a daytime only vehicle?

I'm thinking of a Velocity Blue lettered top-of-windshield strip with a dark background, but nothing beyond that 4 to 6 inch glass modification.
I mean it depends on how dark you go I guess. I have my front side windows tinted to match the rears and I can see out at night just fine. Never had a tinted front window but a lot of people around my area do it, some so dark you can't see in the front at all. I don't know how well night driving works with that but I know when I had limo tint on my Mustang I had to roll down my windows to see out the side at night.

It's not just about seeing at night. Dark tinted windows makes it very hard for other drivers to see you and judge what driving action you're about to take.

Isn’t that illegal and also how do you see at night? 🤨
I briefly tinted my headlights (light, not dark like these) and quickly removed the tint when I could barely see at night. Great look, accident waiting to happen.

Someone finally has black XLT wheels. Beat me to it. Glad they look great. I can't wait to get mine and do the same thing. Did you powder coat or paint the wheels?

What actions you are about to take are signal lights not the driver though IMO, they don't need to see you... hate it when drivers pull in front of me and wave their arms around like I'm supposed to know what that means, I don't speak Italian!

Flash headlights, blinkers, brake lights, etc lights are the communication tools, and speaking of dim lights there was a gray old Dodge Caravan in my neighborhood just the other week who must have had broken lights since his tail lights did work and that guy was like a ghost seemingly coming out of nowhere!

I know mine are not as dark, but when the lights are on you can barely see the difference. Some of you may never understand but there are us folks whom will always choose form over function, even if it means bouncing around on stiff suspension, rolling down the windows to see or voiding our warranties on brand new vehicle. 🤷‍♂️

It's actually VERY helpful having a tinted front windshield for night time driving. It greatly reduces the glare of oncoming traffic blinding you which is huge for safety when you drive on roads that don't have any painted lines (for when you cannot look down & right to the white line to keep your position like you're meant to). The tinted lights not so much.

Also when you have the misfortune of having to drive into the rising or setting sun, tinted front windshield is like built in sunglasses. For safety I tint the front windshield of my relatives that commute sunset or sunrise.

One day a car will have an Electrochromic front windshield
