I drove a Santa Cruz and the non turbo version was soooo slow.... and it was still nearly $30k. I think the AWD 2.4 turbo Santa Cruz starts at like $40k. The Maverick is cheaper and looks better IMO! Probably performs better too!:like:

Ranger may not be a good number, why would you purchase when the refresh is coming, same with taco.
I think the majority of those are the refresh. They recently went into production while the leftover 23s were made a while ago and have either sold already or sold slowly ever since. Because the refresh is so new to the market, there haven't been a lot of reported sales yet. By summertime it'll be a more respectable number.

The Santa cruz is mavericks only competition, the rest on that list are midsized trucks not compacts.but I also see the comparison to the others which isn't even close.bought my 2024 xlt in January so I guess I helped those maverick stats.

True but with the 4k tow package, you can tow 4000 pounds which is not much different when compared to a new base model 2.7turbo F150 that can only tow 5000 pounds. But you are right the Maverick is a compact truck and some of those on the list are midsized trucks.

The point was the number would be low. I wouldn't buy a 23 if I was looking and finding a 24 I wanted isn't easy right now.

In other news, Maverick fanboys are gloating that their Mavericks are blowing the competition out of the water by having the most recalls.

I suspect the Maverick could outsell all other models combined (90K+) if the production capacity were available. When I picked mine up earlier this week, the dealer said any Maverick they get from a customer refused order is sold in within days.

Most likely sales are through the roof because itā€™s the most affordable small pickup truck in the market. I see great value in my ā€˜24 XL EB AWD at $27K sticker and I love the truck, but Iā€™m not going to kid myself, I would have gone for a jeep gladiator if they had one at that price point.
Crazy to think that even with excellent credit score and good income, best 5-year loan I could get was 5.99%, thatā€™s over $4K in interest over the life of the loan. I donā€™t understand people buying $50K plus vehicles at current rates
i Have a 2015 jeep wrangler rubicon and didnā€™t feel the need to replace for a new one at $60K, so I kept the jeep and bought the maverick as my commuter/mileage accumulator and running around doing errands, in the process itā€™s a fun vehicle and wonā€™t mind it being my only vehicle if I didnā€™t have the jeep
