Maverick as breakthrough tech on the cheap

As I wait for my truck to be realized, I am thinking why I am obsessing on a truck in the middle of a pandemic when most Americans can not afford a used car. I love idea of the tech I am getting at low cost. The truck almost is secondary in my thinking. I am sure there will be a let down when I sign the papers to take it home. It will become another expense to maintain.
