Sorry for the Michigan weather gray skies and dirty truck pictures. I just had my friend lower my awd/fx4 maverick only have a few miles on it but am very happy with the ride better than I expected only slightly more stiff and much more noticeable handling (I was happy before too). So I assume it’s going to settle a little more, but measured just under 2” in front and less than 3” in back (super sports were advertising 2.2/3.0). I live in Michigan with terrible roads/winter weather & really only did this for cosmetic appearance and the spring kit gives me all I want - cheaper, better ride and enough difference to notice 😉 I waited a long year+ for the maverick specific springs, and now I can't wait until spring for a nice set of wheels too.

Looks good.

You're not going to convince anyone the ride is "better" though.

If the ride is "pretty good" lowered, well that's good news right there.

I meant ride/prices, etc... in comparison to the other options available (coilovers and air ride)

Truck looks great lowered. Just a question for you? Do you know if the front bump stops needed to be trimmed like the eibach lowering springs? Also did your springs settle? If so , how much? Thanks

Sorry your not convincing me ,

Sorry your not convincing me that your maverick is getting 58 mpg. Its rated 42 city? I have a EcoBoost and I'm just under my window sticker mpg. I'm getting 20 mpg city.
In ideal weather (California Coast) no heat no air conditioning use, 58 MPG or 800 miles on a tank is not difficult.
Several people have done it.

In brutal mid-west winters no! Lol. 😎

Bumping this question, is there a recommendation/need to do any trimming of the front bump stops for the H&R springs like with the Eibachs? Or any other thing that needs to be done besides swapping out the springs and aligning?

I can't say for sure, but I would assume so. It is lowering it the exact same way, so one manufacturer recommends it they both should. Right? Maybe?

Also people lowered their trucks with the escape lowering springs, first I heard of this cutting bump stops?

Yes, prior to H&R making Maverick-specific springs, many folks' adapted the Escape springs to lower their trucks.

I'm talking about the bump stops cutting.
Ah, got it. I could be wrong but my understanding was the Maverick-specific Eibach's were also recommending trimming the bump stop. But again...I could be way off.

Yes they do - shorter springs means shorter bump stop (attached instruction page/pic). I don’t believe they “settled” pretty much same heights measured when installed.
