It is possible to add locks to the storage compartment in the beds!
1 remove old latch assemblies
2 drill door hole out to 5/8 to fit a 5/8 lock assembly!
3 install lock.
4 bend the the latch mechanism outward away from the door just alittle bit!
5 make the slot in the compartment just a alittle bit bigger so the lock will sit in it. (I used a Dremel)
6 install door and test fitment until perfect!

Well done, looks factory. I have a (soft) tonneau and keep the tailgate locked so I'm not real concerned but might do this mod anyway.

It’s what factory should have been. I couldn’t believe it when I started seen them and ford wasn’t adding a lock!
