The fender flares will help protect the side of the truck as well.

Here is my Maverick after 2” lift, new tires, and fender flares. I recently changed to Toyo Open Country 245/65/17 from the Pirellis.

Loved the look and will be a lot more aggressive in snow and mud.

Then I went with Bushwacker fender flares. I know some people don’t care for them. I like them a lot more than I thought I would. Without them the Toyo tires would sling everything on the truck due to there width. I also switched out the stainless bolt covers for black push clips and glued them on the backside.

Then I just completed the 2” lift kit from Fordrangerlift.com. A lot better clearance and I don’t drop down in the truck as far getting in it. I’m 6’2. It really levels the Maverick out. Took about 7 hours total for install.

Here is before and after pics.

On the fender flares, are they bolted on and you had to drill holes??Or does it use the industrial tape stuff to put them on?

They bolt only to the existing holes in the fender wells. I didn’t use the stainless bolts that are just for looks at the top of the flares.
I used black push clips and glued them on the backside. I like the blacked out look.
