When installing LED light strips for the bed on each side, how should you orient the LEDs ? Downward/Vertical or Horizontal/Facing opposite bed side ?
Thank you for all of your help.

Thank You Lone StarFirst, I found that one strip of LEDs was plenty of light for me and it saved a lot of work running wire under the back of the truck. It really simplified installation. I installed them horizontal which helps light up the entire bed from side to side. You'll find there is a flat area near the top underneath the overhang that is perfect for attaching them horizontal.
Looks perfect. Great work. Really appreciate the pics. Thank you
That looks really good. I love the pic. Dogs look amazing as well![]()
I have my lights mounted at the bed rail. On the inner lip so the light points towards to side of the bed not downward.
Looks perfectI have mine mounted like @Lone Star Proud . The strip was longer than the bed but instead of cutting it, I just turned it 90° inwards and stuck it to the tonneau cover.

So this is where dogs go on Saturday nights. I can almost hear them howling to Stayin’ Alive. Need one of these too—![]()

That's where I positioned my light strip - hoping it's not too low (I'm still waiting on Amazon to deliver posi-taps today so I can tap into the factory bed light/switch) but looks good on yours
Same here. Just drivers side is more than enoughFirst, I found that one strip of LEDs was plenty of light for me and it saved a lot of work running wire under the back of the truck.
