Latest 2024 Maverick Production Key Commodity Constraints + Total Retail Unscheduled Orders (2/26/24)

There are currently 14,302 total retail unscheduled orders as of 2/26/24. A increase of 466 retails in USOB since last week.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

To anyone trying to interpret this, Hybrid and XL percentages continue to climb as the "easy" builds get cleared out of the order banks. "US Capacity" is for the entire model year while "Retail USOB" is a current snapshot of the order banks as they stand. Even if USOB % is over capacity, they have enough runway left in the year to build all the ones in the order banks.

Nothing to freak out about, but if you want to order a truck for a quick build an EB XLT or Lariat is your best bet.

Does anyone agree that the Model Equipment Grouping adds up to 104%? And XLT non-Luxury = 0%?

XL Series = 65%
XLT Luxury = 27% (92% total)
Lariat Luxury = 11% (103% total)
Tremor = 1% (104% total)

XLT Non-Luxury = 100% less the sum of the others, but the others add up to 104%

What am I missing?

Do your think I will get my EB. XL ford360 and trailer hitch by end of model year, or in may or June or july or 2025 orders bank open or August or September or October…

EB is easy to get than hybrid, that they tell me at the ford dealership… back in July 17 when order bank first opened

With all due respect, I believe you should be more specific. The huge demand for hybrids coupled with what appears to be “just in time delivery” for the power train components, which they conveniently blame their supply chain, is the main issue. It is really not about Trim level, with the exception of a huge XL demand. It is about profit. They added a shift, people got more productive, records were set and then guess what, more supply chain issues.

Consider that Lariat Hybrids have not been scheduled in a timely fashion. I have a Lariat Hybrid on order as of Aug 1, 2023. All I have been getting is “so sorry”, supply chain issue notices every 45 days. I ordered a second one from a large dealer on Nov. 13, 2023 and on Nov. 30 I got a production notice that the truck was scheduled for the week of Feb 12, 2024. That was very acceptable. On Feb. 9 I called Ford customer relations and was told that there was good news. He told me that he had a confirmed day of Feb 15, so I was quite excited. On Feb 10, I checked online and found that Ford had updated their schedule and they moved my production week to Feb 29, then 3 days later they changed it again to March 4. Here we are approaching March 4 and it is crickets. It is a Maverick Lariat as it comes in Hybrid, plus BAP.

Their numbers don’t impress me. Sorry for venting a little. By the way, the original vehicle ordered has been scheduled for build now for the week of April 1. In the mean time, my dealer for the second order sold me an XLT that had just arrived. Loaded with Ecoboost, AWD, FX4 and everything except moon roof for $4K cheaper. I am thrilled with it. The dealer told me that Ford is not accepting any dealer orders, so he wanted me to order 2 more so that he would have product to sell . What a way to run a business!

By the way. With all my blabbing, I went back on the production update website and found that they had just updated the notice to today and the I realized the my order was now”In Production”. Looks like this time they were able to start earlier than anticipated. Oh well

Rounding errors and don't include Tremor. Tremor can be on Lariat (which requires Lux), XLT, or XLT Lux package.

Even if you say that the real percentages were 64.01 rounded up to 65 and so on 64.01+26.01+10.01 = 100.03% and that doesn't make any sense. It should not add up over 100% and that is not counting XLT non-lux at all.

All the other percentages have only changed by 1 or 2 percent from week to week but suddenly two weeks ago the XLT lux package percentage shot up to be nearly double. I think that number is just getting misreported somehow.

For newer folks here, let’s remember that dealer allocations are king. If your dealer doesn’t have one, yours won’t get built.

It really depends on your dealer's allocations and your priority at the dealer. No actual reason at this time for a EB XL not to get built this year otherwise. Talk to your dealer.

OH, I think you will get it built this year. I sure you do! I got a build date of Week of March 18th. I ordered Early in August of 23. It will happen but I would talk to your dealer and ask if there is any way to get a lower priority number and question him on allocations they have for the Maverick.

I wish you the best but I would say it should happen just hang in there my friend. I also have the EB XL AWD 4K tow and that is all/
