There are currently 13,836 total retail unscheduled orders as of 2/19/24. A decrease of 6,991 retails in USOB since last week.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

See the previous commodity report.

Interestingly, almost half of the difference is XL and most were Hybrid. Weird for a pair of "exhausted" options. Rounding errors likely becoming more noticeable at these lower numbers.

XL order holders need to really consider switching to an XLT. For $2,500, you can most likely save that amount while waiting until it gets built and have a much higher probability of actually getting a Maverick

I'm curious what the heck is in those ten priority 99 trucks and why they keep showing up. it seems like someone would go in and find whatever the issue is and correct it, and then get them out of 99 status?

About XL Ecoboot,,, I know people alot hybrid XL, how many Ecoboot they got In XL, I can’t not go to a xlt because it out of my price range. And hybrid is 1,500 more dollars. My marks price is 25,745 with tow hitch and ford360 on xlt be 28,660 with the tow hitch and ford360. I stay with a xl, because it in my price range, my is not XL hybrid, I ask again how many Ecoboot are Xl are they

I was fairly close at 12,000 but still off by 1,836.
So for over the last month it looks like about 2,000 new orders or 500 a week.

On the 2/12/24 report there are 20,827 orders and lets add in 500 new orders for the week to a total of 21,327 orders.

Now subtract the 13,700 that just got scheduled and you get 7,627

Since not all of the 13,700 scheduled are retail orders (Stock, Fleet, Other Countries) lets add back in a guestement of 5,373 of them and get to what will probably be around 12,000 remaining retail orders left on the next report coming this Tuesday.
So either there were a lot more than 500 new orders this week or Ford scheduled more than the 5,373 (Stock, Fleet, Other Countries) orders I estimated.

With the decrease of 6,991 retail orders in USOB shown today and if this about 7,000 reductions continues for the May, June and July months and with about 2,000 retail orders added monthly the USOB should be about empty following the May scheduling period July builds.

At which point a lot of dealer stock should be available and prices for even the Hybrid should be selling at MSRP or lower off the dealer lots.

Could be someone ordering an "unclean" order. Could also be some of the carryovers that were abandoned and Ford's automatic deletion threat was a bluff to make dealers actually do something with them.

I wonder how many "new car" buyers are lost due to them not wanting to wait.

We will likely see MSRP. Not that I checked but I don't think there are many vehicles under 30k being discounted right now, unless they are a total flop.

Guaranteed you'll see finance incentives on the Maverick ecoboost this year. They can't make enough hybrid and they have excess capacity for ecoboost. Discounted finance rates will be far more valuable to buyers than a small cash incentive.

If I am understanding this correctly, most of the outstanding XL Orders Are hybrid, so EcoBoost should be filled sooner. Is that right?

If a dealer has an allocation for them yes. If they don’t have allocation for them it’s highly possible it would roll into ordering a 25’ Mav cause the allocation system is mostly damned.

I'm told that I was one of the six people that had order a maverick truck, they just didn't say if it was for the year. So im sure I'll be towards the end of the year. Wish it was the 24 model cause I like the design of it.
