Just got my Oxford White 2025 Maverick XLT with the luxury package, a drop in bed liner, a smoke hood deflector. a keyless entry pad, and rubber floor mats. So far, I absolutely love it. Here are the pros & cons I've seen after having it for 48 hours.

Pros:
1) The screen is much better!!! It's bigger & clearer.
2) It has Synch4 and wireless Apple Carplay.
3) Seems to have more power when I press the gas.
4) It's white, not school bus yellow/orange. To be fair, I didn't hate school bus yellow/orange, (I actually liked it at first) but I wanted the color Cyber Orange was on the website and didn't get it. After a while the yellow/orange became less desirable.
5) Push button start is REALLY nice! It's not worth $10,000 or anything like that, but it's VERY easy to get used to.
6) The heated steering wheel is worth the $1k I paid for the luxury package. I have poor circulation in my hands, and this helps.
7) When I change the mode to "Slippery", the next time I got in the truck it asked if I wanted to go back into slippery mode.
8) 3 more years/36,000 miles of warranty.
9) As someone else pointed out, things really do feel sturdier.
10) The rotary dial is more firm, and changing from one gear to the next (ie reverse to neutral) is more defined.
(Edited/Added)
11) I forgot to mention, the sound system sounds better which is a huge plus!!

Cons:
1) I liked the information screen (where the speedometer is) much better on my '22.
2) They changed the quad view that used to have (top left) trip mpg, (top right) trip miles, (bottom right) miles to empty, (bottom left) real-time mpg & for this to turn blue when in electric/charge mode to have other things that aren't nearly as helpful.
3) There's not a way to easily see if I'm running in electric/charge/gas mode AND to know my real-time mpg at the same time. You can see if you're in electric/charging/gas mode by looking at the far left gage, but it's not easy. To make it easy there's an information "card" & a real-time mpg "card" you can add to the information screen, but then you can't see both at the same time. You have to toggle. I loved the old quad view. (If I'm missing something, someone please show me how I can get the old quad view...or something similar).
4) No physical buttons for the temperature controls.
5) Cost me more money.

The wife and I both like the heated seats and steering wheel in our 2023 buggy. They work really well and are @ temp before we even get out of our subdivision. One thing that would have been nice is the push button start, but couldn't justify the bump up in $$ to the Lariat. The FOB key is spring loaded and wonder if it's just a matter of time before that spring get's sprung. Don't most vehicles have push button start as standard equip now ? C'mon Ford.

I agree on the push button start. Seems like that would be simpler & cheaper technology. A button and a fob sensor seem like they'd be cheaper than a key fob and the key receptacle mechanism on the steering column.

Glad you like it. I think the bigger screen and 360 cameras would be the only thing that would tempt me to upgrade from my 23 Lariat.

And I agree on the heated steering wheel. Even living in Central Alabama, I very quickly became a convert when we got it in the Escape.

Nice write up.

I'll add, extra sensors/complexity required for keyless - because instead of ignition system knowing key is there and how to respond, you now need more antennas to determine is fob in cab or outside and how to respond.
The ignition/transponder reader are probably cheaper too since around for so long.

Congrats! I'm curious about the pushbutton start and keypad.

Can I leave the truck running with the key in my pocket and lock the door from the outside using the keypad?

I'll try that when I get the keyless entry pad added. Apparently it's a dealer add-on, and the service dept wasn't open when my truck was delivered. They said I could leave it til Monday or take it and bring it back to let them install it. I took it. 🙂

Or what about locking it from the outside with the fob?

Interesting you say it feels like it has more power. I wonder if they tuned it different to have more torque off the line or maybe it's a different drive ratio with the new transmission. Though not sure how the drive ratio works with an eCVT.

Me neither. I haven't floored it yet. Might give that a try on the way home tonight. 🙂

Oh yeah I didn't think of locking it from the outside since I the fob would be in my pocket. Let me know when you try! I usually leave my truck running with my dog inside if I need to run into a store.

I test drove a 25 Tremor on Saturday with the 2.0 Ecoboost. Compared to my 2022 the 25 felt like it had more power and shifted better.

Thanks for the info - much appreciated. My similarly equipped XLT is schede3uled to be built next week. How do you like the interior fabric and stitching? I would imagine the blue looks great with the outside white.

Push button start is more convenient but also easier to be stolen.

I bought a Faraday pouch to keep the key fob in while my truck is parked in my driveway, so no one can steal the signal and drive away in my truck.

I have a faraday box at home for the key when I get my new truck as well. I'd rather not have it stolen like my cousin's Type R last month... luckily his car was recovered.
