June 2021 order

Hello all!

I've been reading this forum more than I should since I put in my order on 6/9/2021.

I called Ford this morning and was told it will not get built as a '22. The rep confirmed that the dealer input the order correctly so I should be eligible for the private offer. One thing she said, which is inconsistent to the info on this forum, is that I need to go through the same dealer to get priority for my '23. She said I can use the private offer anywhere but won't get priority if I order through a different dealer.

It's been a frustrating ordering process but I hope you have my Cyber Orange Lariat Hybrid sometime by spring.

I’m not 100% sure but I “think” they are correct, seems like thefordvideoguy mentioned that in maybe episode 48 or 49. Think you can message him to get positive answer

Thanks! My '23 order is going to be a hybrid lariat and only 3 options: engine block heater, 4 pin receiver and 110/400 outlet. Hopefully that will help.

Father-in-law ordered a hybrid lariat with luxury package and got his in March '22. I'm a bit salty every time I see it.

What was your MY22 order? Which engine/trim/options?

XLT Ecoboost in black with the luxury, tow and off road packages. I probably would have put in a '23 hybrid order anyways so at this point, I'm not too upset it's not getting built.

I do believe the @fordvideoguy said changing engine or changing trim will cause your order to lose it's priority in queue. It won't be considered a rollover MY22 order but a new MY23 order. Your changes will also likely affect your personal offer. I'd check on that if you are concerned about your priority.

Thanks, I'll check with him. When the order is just sitting there for 14 moths, it gives me too much time to change my mind!

If it makes you feel beter, you cant even get hybrid lariat in canada. We stuck with a key

Wow that's the longest wait I have heard of. If you change dealers you will loose your place in line. Not sure if you make any major changes.

I find it hard to believe the dealership put the order in correctly, despite what Ford marketing says. I would bet it wasn't COVP'd if I had to put money on it.

All, in speaking with my dealer about my 2023 order. They have something from Ford that states when the order banks open on 8/2 only 2.0 engines can be ordered, no Hybrids at this time. They have no order open date for Hybrids.

My dealer says 8/2 for both and @fordvideoguy says the same confirmed by the maverick brand manager. I would tell them to try and input your order on 8/2 and see if it goes through
