It Pays to work with a great Dealership!

On Wednesday my sales guy did his monthly check-in to say, "Larry we are monitoring your build, no date as of yet". I ordered a Hybrid Lariat, Carbonized Gray on 08/26 with spray-in, hard roll-up tonneau cover, and the bed light system. On Friday morning, the sales manager called (which when the number came up in my phone, I was a bit surprised due to the Wednesday message), to tell me there was a Lariat Hybrid on the lot and since the build was very close to mine, I get first shot. He also told me he would only hold it for the day. Told him I would be there in a couple of hours. It did not have the cover or the bed lights. It was about $2K less than my build (Walnut Creek Ford in CA are not marking theirs up one dollar). The first two pictures are of it at the dealership, the third one is at it's "new home", my house! The Area 51 blue was my second choice in color, so no problems there. Ordered all of the options that did not come with it, plus 2 more from the Ford accessory web site, all INSTALLED for $1930! In just the day I have had it, this is definitely the best truck I have ever owned and maybe the 2nd best car I have ever owned! BTW - invest in the tailgate color lettering, I installed the black mirror & what a difference!
