Hey I found a way to tell a 2024 from a 2022 or 2023.
Ford changed it's blue oval logo slightly for 2024.
White lettering rather than silver with a thicker white border line with no silver periphery line.
The lettering is also slightly taller with a darker blue background.
Actually it's not all that slight, you can see the difference with a glance.

Many vehicles change something, however slight, some feature each year so that if you are knowledgeable about it you can tell it's year by looking at it.
Does the Maverick have anything distinctive between 2022 and 2023 and the upcoming 2024?
In cars in the 60's and 70's even if nothing changes you could sometimes look at the embossed printing in the taillight to see it's year. Short of looking at the VIN is there anything that can tell a Maverick's year?
great question. my short answer is not that i know of so far.

I wonder how fast they'll roll that out to all vehicles....

Unless you're a worker for Ford, the small difference from year to year are un noticeable. One difference is the 2024's don't have the keypad on the drivers door! (also the early XL's included) Color changes maybe? The older Mav's have better features then the 24's.

The 22 & 23s don't have any more "features" than the 24 - unless you ordered them
The manual sliding rear window, the 400W 110V inverter and the keypad all had to be ordered - at least on some trims without other packages. You could have got an XL without any of these. It doesn't decisevly tell a 24 from a 23 or a 22.
Yes some of the colors do.
But still - for example, a white XL with no additional options can't tell the year by looking - other than the VIN or maybe the blue oval logo if Ford uses the new design for 24 for the Maverick

If it's velocity blue it's a 22i only one year for that color also hard to tell only 22s had leather wrapped steering wheel.

What I was trying to say, is that things were available on earlier mavericks, that were not available on the 2024's. Thank you for correcting me.
