This will sure be news to all the owners of 22-24 FWD Hybrids, since the directions on how to flat tow are in their owners manual. The 2025 Ford Maverick 2.5L Hybrid is not designed to be flat towed. In general, hybrid and front-wheel drive vehicles like the Maverick are not suitable for flat towing due to their design and drivetrain components. If you plan to tow the Maverick, it is recommended that you use a wheel lift to avoid damaging the drivetrain.
WOW! Given that there is plenty of information here that says otherwise, this is going to be a major shock to many people here, myself included. Was considering a hybrid 2025 AWD because I live in WI, but I’ll stay with my 2024 since it can be flat towed. Not awd. Only front wheel drive. From the 2025 manual in my awd hybrid:

This looks pretty clear that you can.Looking at the guide and if you can't tow a AWD Maverick on a tow Dollie then don't think you can flat tow it either.
I stand corrected and thanks for the clarification. This looks pretty clear that you can.
