It has been a while since I have been part of an automotive forum so I wanted to say 'hello' and to thank you for creating this place. I have been watching the Maverick since I saw the first review on Motorweek. I knew I had to have one. I finally bought one this past June and I'm thrilled! Bought it off the lot, not too many bells or whistles but since I'm in Canada I HAD to have a heated steering wheel. So far the only major addition is a tonneau cover. Already had the first road trip with the kids and went 802 kms before filling up. That was unintentional and so was my 15 year old scuffing the front left bumper on a safety cone. It's been a great couple of months and I've been reading lots of these posts and watching lots of YT videos.
I may not say much since I'm new but I appreciate all the knowledge on this forum.

Beautiful picture! Assuming you took it - how is the headroom for you?

Thanks, yes I took this a couple of days after I picked it up. The headroom is incredible. I'm not that tall but I do wear a western hat on the daily and I have no issues with the height or doing shoulder checks. Just another unknown perk of the Maverick.

I often wear a fedora and easily get in & out with plenty of headroom. I’m still discovering perks on my new Maverick - happy driver here near the border of our other North American member Mexico;)

I commend his decision, the other option was going into the back end of the Honda Pilot in front of us 🤣
