Firestone also had a $80 mail-in rebate. So paid $150 per tire, and they are a lot lighter tire than I've seen most people putting on their mavs.

Still waiting (6 weeks now) for my 2" lift.

That Cyber Orange is going to look amazing in that Tahoe Snow on a clear sunny day! I lived in Northern Nevada for 16 years (94-2010), and many years commuting to the Tahoe Basin. Probably driven over Brockway, Mt. Rose and Spooner 300x in winter. I built a restaurant on the back of Mt. Pluto at Northstar back in 2006. That was a crazy commute. Had to take forest trails up around the back to the summit.

I'd rather not slander anybody on this Forum. At least not yet, they claimed it was a 3 to 4 week back order. I get supply chains are slow right now and parts are hard to come by. They claimed it shipped last Friday have yet to see it. if it comes in and is a nice lift I will give them praise. If it Doesn't come in any time soon and/or it's a piece of crap I'll be sure to let everyone know

Yes it has stock suspension on it right now. And it definitely has some rubbing.Today it's going next door to the shop to get some minor wrapping dun. Hopefully the lift comes in and is installed by end of the week. But I'm assuming there will be a little trimming after the lift is on I will keep everyone posted.

I definitely think the wider tires look better I wanted to keep the 235, Because I believe a skinnyer tire is better in the snow. Also hoping to keep little bit better gas mileage and a little less trimming in the Fender well

I know exactly who you ordered it from, I have ordered mine from him 4 weeks ago tomorrow and he has told me he will ship mine out on this Friday. He said he shipped out some last Friday that ordered from him the week before me, so that would have been you as one of them. He also told me he would send me a tracking number when he shipped mine out. So you hadn`t got a tracking number from him yet ? I hope this guy is not pulling something over on us and leading us on week after week with these kits. Me and my buddy don`t understand why this guy would not have a bunch of these kits made up ahead of time to send out when he got orders. My understanding is he only gets them made as you order one. So he is making these one at a time.

Am I correct that you’re driving with 31 inch tires and no lift and it’s still drivable?!
Probably could get away with just a front 1/2”inch lift and you wouldn’t have to do any trimming; that could help maintain mpg…

Thanks for mentioning this. I've been trying to find an appropriate pizza cutter size for winter tires here in VT. I'd love to use a 225/75/17, but they're all E rated LT tires (too heavy and way too harsh a ride for this truck). So I'm considering the size you've got.

Did you ever get your kit yet ? I sent him a email last night wanting my tracking number and he replied back that the bolts for the kits were on backorder and he hope to get the bolts in next week. No telling when I will get my kit, hope you got yours.

I haven't been able to even consider Firestone tires since the whole Ford Explorers flipping debacle many years ago.
That was a long time ago but I feel the same way. They are off the list.
