I Acted like an A$$H0L3 today - minor fender bender

I was stopped waiting for two cars to clear so I can get out of the parking lot at the grocery store and this guy backs into me. I was upset and cussed a little bit. After we talked and exchanged info, I realized I was wrong in the way I acted so I apologized and we shook hands. Just a minor damage. Nothing broken that needs to be replaced.

Yeah I feel for ya. Ours only had 300 miles on it when my wife side swiped my Acadia when backing out of a parking spot at work. It sucks for sure but just remember it gives your truck character.

At least that's what a lot of members here told me when this happened..........I'll be honest the "gives it character" line is a load of shit.

Been there and done that like most of us here. The only time I generally get snarky is when the other person gets there first. Like the time I got rear ended and the soy boy with a man bun accused me of not knowing how to drive. He said there was no traffic coming and he expected me to do a rolling stop before turning right on Red. Takes all kinds.

I was in the insurance investigation business for 40 years and we always said that the second loudest sountd in the world was that sound of the first impact on a new vehicle. THE LOUDEST SOUND was the sound everyone hears after they've driven the car after that first accident. "I've NEVER heard that sound before, HONEST!"

Dropped the Mav off this morning at the body shop. They said it'll be about a week. They said it's hard to repair and match a textured surface so they're going to replace the bumper. I'm thinking good luck with getting the bumper. Total estimate for repair is $2006.
