I know its a new truck and I would be pissed off too but worth asking about a fix vs replacement but thats dependent on severity and where the crack is. I have seen some very good star crack fixes.

I feel your pain. I drive alot so it's a matter of time for me. Had to replace windshield on my last vehicle three times in 10 years. I wouldn't waste time all pissed off if that were me. DIY repair it now before it starts cracking and spreads.

Check with your insurance company. I've had 2 windshields replaced over the years which was paid for 100%. And two or more times I've had cracks that were paid for.

I had that happen to me 2 weeks ago, Safelite fixed me up good as new!!! Can’t even tell where it was dinged.

One reason I'm still looking for a "Bug shield/hood deflector" that actually deflects the wind upwards. I've had one on my Sport Trac for 15 years and never had a chipped window. Could just be lucky I suppose.

If it can’t be fixed, it probably can be, I recommend upgrading to the acoustic windshield.

No. I like how it looks on the Oxford white, but I’m worried about the hood shake. I might get it because I have a paint chip on the front now too. My trip on the freeway this afternoon fucking sucked.

If you get hood shake it should be easily fixed by adjusting the hood stops. I’m hopeful that a color matched one comes out someday.

I never have this problem because 90% of rocks come from the vehicle in front of you. I keep my distance for better gas mileage and potential rock chips. Now that I said this, I’m gonna get hit tomorrow from an oncoming car rock. Not saying you’re tailgating, only pointing out this is the reason most vehicles get rock chips.
