I lived in the Dubai Marina area. There was a mall close by and there was always a GOLD Bugatti parked there with a rope around it. I was never able to find out why it was roped off. The only thing I could figure was they didn't want anyone close enough to touch it. God it was beautiful.
Was it a Veyron? I swear I thought they were the ugliest car I had ever seen in print until I say on in real life!!!

Do you remember the story about a guy that drove one into the water a number of years back. Turns out he had bought it for $1 million insured it for $2.2M and it was an insurance fraud case.

That's the one I'm talking about, what happened to that source? Did he/she get a cease and desist order?! :(
something like that. People were warned not to divulge what was happening inside the factory.

Yeah, I was surprised when the info was first posted, because that thought had gone through my mind about Ford might not like this info going out. OPSEC!

Forget what model.
No, never heard that story.
Did you ever see the car with all the coins I guess glued onto the exterior? It was cool looking. I saw it at the Dubai Mall there next to Burj Al Arab.

Worked and lived in Dubai for 3 years. This would be a daily driver for the Emirates'. I saw so many dream cars there my eyes were blinded. Hell, cops drive Ferrari's.
Hell, you don't have to go to Dubai for that. Been to Vancouver BC lately? Can't swing a dead cat without hitting a McLaren.

<damn, where's the dead cat emoji when you need it?>

Umm, I hope that's a typo. That has been stated for a while but it used to say "stock hybrid orders." Now the "stock" is gone.

You are correct, it's only for dealer stock, orders will be filled for retail
I keep seeing posts saying the "no scheduling" hold is just for dealer stock.

But, last night on his livestream, @fordvideoguy said it was for all hybrids.

And, if you read it carefully, the autoblog.com article doesn't say it's just dealer stock either, although people seem to be interpreting it that way:
What it seemingly does not specify is that the document ... refers to hybrid inventory orders, not to hybrid retail orders.
So where does the information that it only applies to dealer stock come from?
(Don't get me wrong. I'm hoping it's true. I just want to know where it comes from.)

Here is the exact wording:
Until further notice, hybrid orders will not be selected for scheduling.

I had to go up to Chattanooga TN about a month ago. There was beautiful Blue McLaren on I-75 South bound from north of Atlanta to almost the Florida border. We kept passing each other. God it was beautiful.
