Was this not related to stock dealer orders only? I could be mistaken, but I think the larger document you've referenced has been posted here previously, and alluded to dealer stock only. I reserve the right to be wrong and corrected.

This is really surprising. Can someone post the rest of the document. I think knowing the whole context is very important.

I wonder how many more chips it takes to do the Hybrid than Ecoboost? And then separately I wonder, are there specific unique chips in the Hybrid that are not in the Ecoboost that are specifically in short supply?

Back in August it did say STOCK Hybrid orders - this actually says all hybrid orders .....

https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...-package-53q-must-add-awd-for-4k-towing.1492/
Looks like it is a most recent production document which is really sad considering Ford called the hybrid the standard model which apparently until further notice they aint building .....

2022 MAVERICK
PRODUCTIVITY

A NEW WORLD OF DRIVING
The 2022 Ford® Maverick is the first-ever pickup to come standard with a 2.5L full hybrid engine. It also has an exceptional targeted EPA-estimated 40 mpg city,* so you can enjoy your drive while cutting emissions.

Unfortunately We Wont Be Building This One .....

Ford has some explaining to do. They ramp up the PR/Marketing blitz about a truck under $20,000 (Not true) and that it comes standard with a hybrid motor (Not making it til further notice) What does that mean?

They may need to go into prevention mode sometime soon. They are really pushing the goodwill of the customer on this one. I guess they aren't worried until cancellations of orders or another manufacturer comes to market.

Glad I made the choice to wait and see.
