I am amazed the Mav beat the Bronco! I need to re-calibrate my lifetime of thinking the much greater HP/TQ would win, but then again the Bronco is an off-road focused vehicle.Great video! The Hybrid Mav looks like no slouch, the efficiency is incredible!
was hoping they’d mention what time the hybrid actually turned the 1/4 in? 7.6 sec?
That bronco is geared low, but if it was geared at a standard ratio it would smoke the Mav. Good news is that the mav will obviously be no slouch on the road and that’s all people are worried about. Hit the gas on the freeway and you’ll get past people, plain and simple!I am amazed the Mav beat the Bronco! But geez, maybe I won't have to stay in the right/slow lanes once I get acclimated to the Hybrid's combined TQ curve.
In this video theThanks for posting. Good entertainment.
Since the 2.0 EB is a little faster than the Hybrid, would it beat the F150 Hybrid in the video?

The F150 hybrid costs about $20k more to start all the way up to $40-50k more and also doesn’t get mpg’s above mid-20s. With gas at $4+ that is a huge difference. Go Mav!Love the video!
Now, what are the cost comparisons between the F150 and the Maverick Hybrids?
Wasn't that surprised, as we have a truck and a Vette that stock for stock the two 5.7L V8s are actually quite similar power, but the fact that one has the aerodynamics of a brick, much heavier wheels/tires, and weighs an extra 2K lbs makes quite the difference!I'm quite surprised how a base-engine Maverick can knock the socks of a Bronco with the top engine. Then again, the Mav is a lot lighter, so it makes sense.
