Finally posting some pics of my Maverick with the upgrades thus far:

1. Fuel Zypher 17x8 +25mm offset 5x108 (was rubbing initially. Had to grind the pinch weld in the wheel well and it solved the issue)
2. Kumho tires245/70/17 (low road noise)
3. HRG 1.5 INCH (38MM) LIFT KIT
4. 5% tint all around with eyebrow
5. Paint correction with 5yr clear coating
6. Ford Bed divider
7. Ford Soft bed cover (rollable)

Now, the one negative I have experienced and was expecting has been the drop in MPG. I was getting just a hair over 42mpg with the stock wheels/tires, and since the swap it’s drop down to 36/37mpg 😩. Overall I think it was a good exchange though.

Truck with mods looks GREAT. Just like everyone else who does it, when you put more area of tire on the road, it is going to eat into the mph, but think about it. If someone would have had a truck 5-6 years ago that gave you 36-37 mpg, you would have thought you won the lottery, especially at the price level of the Maverick. Win, Win situation all the way around.

Damn those wheels are NICE and the tires are mean looking... beefy. Too bad that won't fly here in Germany for me unless I have Fender flares on. I might have to double-check their regs on how far out the tires can stick out. Love them tho. She's beautiful in those shoes!!!

No issue. I just took mine to the dealership on Thursday for the airbag recall and they adjusted the brakes for the low speed grabbing

As someone who put on even larger tires, I’m happy there are other hybrid owners willing to decrease the mpg for the look. And 37 mpg is great! I like the black wheel design too.

Awesome truck! I have the same wheels but I need lug nuts. Do you have any info on which ones you have?

Question if i get the same size tires that my Maverick came with. And i put the same size AT tires back on will it rub the fender walls. If anyone has done this please reply. I dont care for the continental tires that are on it. Plus i live on a gravel and dirt driveway up a hill need more traction mine is a 22 AWD xl maverick

It shouldn't rub with factory sized tires. Even a little bump in size should not rub.
