Post a comment with dealer name and fees also if you want.

Especially if your dealer does NOT charge a processing fee or one above $1000!

Why are you all paying doc fees and other bullshit fees that these scummy dealers are charging?
They are not mandated by Ford, the state or the Feds. It's just greed....and paying these stupid fees just encourages more deviant behavior.

The dealer I use, George Coleman Ford in Travelers Rest, SC, does not charge any fees. None. My 2022 XLT was MSRP, and the 2023 Lariat I ordered is MSRP. NO FEES. NO BULLSHIT!

In my experience, If you Google documentation fees, many times you can find it posted on the dealer websites.

In addition, sometimes you can also find out buried in reviews in case that number is different than what you saw/expected.

In my area, $500 is the norm.

I ordered mine in NY. NY is capped at $175. NJ is about $500.

I talked with two dealers for my order, and the only difference between their quotes ended up being the doc fee -- one was nearby but charged $399, one was several counties over and charged no doc fee (dealership with lots of locations, their hallmark is no fees). The closer dealership agreed to waive it, more convenient all around and long-term to buy close by, so they won the order.

See if your dealer accepts the X-Plan, if they do, join the higher tier membership of the Mustang club (to use the Xplan) and besides the discount, you get a much lower dealers fee. Sarasota Ford charged $100 dealer fee.
