How many of you already own a hybrid vehicle ?

I've never owned a hybrid. Sports cars and trucks/SUVs.

Hybrids used to cost a lot more than a standard vehicle and no one would ever confuse them for something that was cool.

I do wish you could get AWD with the hybrid but I have another vehicle I can take on dirt roads. I don't need AWD .

As many have said.....hybrids on most vehicles is an upcharge, and the hybrid would take years to pay for itself.

This vehicle is different...standard hybrid....completely reverses the previous frugality argument.

This will be my third Hybrid. The first two were Honda Accords which my wife drove. The new one gets 40 mpg and is not a small car. The power and performance has been quite adequate.

I have a 2012 ford escape hybrid, my wife had a 2013 cmax the 2017 escape then 2021 pacifica plug in hybrid. I was looking at the lightening f-150 and the mach-e, but I realized that (with there not being a hybrid bronco sport) that the maverick is the most near to my 2012 escape. I don't love the current gen4 escapes, and I like the truck bed. I only began to consider the maverick because it was hybrid though.

I own the 2nd worst hybrid ever mass-produced, an HCH2 (2nd gen Honda Civic Hybrid). I am still buying a hybrid. NB the worst hybrid ever mass-produced was the HCH3.

Kinda like me. My old job was only 4 miles away and I was sick for 6 months without driving at all. My 2017 Jeep GC only has 16,000 miles on it. My new job is 20 miles away so I’m kinda looking forward to this hybrid truck going from 16mpg to 40mpg.

2010 Honda Insight with 170,000 no issues at all,I do regular maintenance it’s the work vehicle. 2020 Honda CR-V hybrid which has better hybrid system then the insight love driving in EV mode. I wish the maverick would have that button

Whole family has hybrids. My wife and oldest daughter both have rav4 hybrids. My youngest daughter has a corolla hybrid. Probably the most dependable group of cars we've ever had

I also started considering the maverick because of its hybrid offering. I would not look at any new vehicle in 2021-2022 doing average mpg in the 20..
I.had leaf and bolt before. in law had ford cmax hybrid ( a bit loud on the highways ) and now clarity plug in that is super efficient but as a long sedan is not my favorite

Wife had a 2009 ( 2010?) Ford escape hybred it had 250,000 miles on it when she gave it to our granddaughter to take to college, wife loved that little SUV
