How long did your Mavericks take to be made (from date of order to date of arrival)

Title. Trying to figure out how long it took to make your custom Maverick order, as it will be my first vehicle so I am trying to decide whether to custom order one or try to find a dealer with one.

If you order now itll be a preorder for 2023… for which the ordering hasn’t officially opened yet. plus, you’ll in theory be behind 2022 model orders that get rolled over to 2023 models… so to answer your original question 3-6 months for those of us with simple 2022 orders. 6-8 months for those with constraints. January at bestfor you at this point

That being said, production time for 22MY varied a lot depending on what you ordered. I ordered a very simple XLT with no packages or bed liner and mine was built 2 months after I placed my order but there are people who ordered Hybrid Lariat LUX/360 months before me who haven't had theirs built yet.

My Lariat hybrid was ordered June 12, delivered Dec. 21. I deleted all extras to facilitate a quicker build and delivery. The only extra above Lariat standard options was the Hot Pepper Red paint.

I ordered a higher end spec XLT. AWD, tow package, Lux package, CP360, ect, and it took 1 week to build it and 4 weeks to deliver it. Oh and I almost forgot...............7 months of waiting.

Wow! Definitely gonna want to find one at a dealer then! Hoping to get one by end of July as I will be taking my license test directly after my drivers ed ends on June 6 (I am 90% certain I will pass as I have a decent amount of experience driving, been practicing since I was 14 twice a week for 1 hour drives each and so far have aced every drivers ed classroom test). I am almost 17 now, and before questioning the price of a Maverick as a first vehicle, I make a couple thousand per month working at a warehouse part time that pays insanely well. Thank you guys for your inputs regarding the order times!!

I would be more concerned about the cost of insurance than the cost of the truck. Also it might be hard to find an insurance company to actually insure you being a new driver.

I would get some free quotes and see what they say.
