How far can your Maverick hybrid go on one tank of gas

With over 600 miles driven on this tank I’m averaging
50mpg…I’m easily going to get 650 this tank…I do drive easy on the throttle and am gentle off the line and this makes a difference.

Just got 520 miles on a tank it worked out to 37 mpg. 80% city driving. It’s amazing how much better mpg is on warm vs cold days

I live on hilly country roads about 10 miles away from downtown or shopping areas. I'm a little over halfway through my first tank and am at 40.7 MPG. 500 miles out of the first tank shouldn't be a problem. I haven't touched ECO mode. This has all been in normal drive mode.

My Tuscon Hybrid, which is supposed to get 37/36 city/hwy gets around 33-34 on the same commutes.

Still working on the initial tank from when I picked it up from the dealer. Drove from PA to upstate NY on "back" highways, so usually under 65. I will update this post when I get gas, right now about 525 mile since I picked it up at the dealer w/87 miles to empty.

I must admit, having the coach feature makes it kind of a game to see (within reason) trying to keep it in 'electric' mode while doing lower speed roads.

I've only had mine for a little under a week but I am floored with the fuel consumption! Since my commute is about 30 miles with 90/10 highway/city I expected my mpg to be in the mid-30s or so but I've been driving carefully and getting a tank average over about 300 miles of 43mpg! I'm hoping I'll get about 600 miles to the tank or around two weeks of commutes It's definitely a nice change from filling up at the pump every 3 or 4 days!

Initial tank approximately 602 w/20-30 miles to empty.

I was at 119 miles to empty. And gone into town and the store twice and still have 88 to empty. And drove about 40 miles total. Didn't get gas because, well, I still have 88 miles.

The mpg on these trucks just doesn't feel real. My last car averaged about 25-27mpg.

I have noticed (of course I am getting better on my Regen braking but) that it is much easier to recap 90+% when temp is above 85°F than when below 50°F, I assume that the hv battery gets to it's max allowed amperage acceptance rate temperature quicker allowing more Regen capture. Of interest I have driven 0.3 miles each day for 3 days to my mail box without any other driving and all 3 times mav has reported "All Electric"!

Getting better. Most recent tank was 39 mpg. Almost finished with the next tank and did 100% highway at 80+ mph and right around 30 mpg.

best tank yet. Probably closer to 49mpg in reality. Lots of commuting in and out of Dallas.

Update: Computer was pretty accurate. 53.2mpg calculated at the pump.

We had 493 miles with 1/4 tank left when I filled up yesterday. We're averaging ~45mpg so far, but my wife is driving it 90% of the time (because I work from home). If I was the sole driver, pretty certain we'd be over 50mpg.
