Still 100 miles + to empty.
But if you do the math one of those two are way off. Or gas was added since the last fill up.

My Guage told me I could go up to 650mi most of the time I drove it but the last 60 or so miles went by a lot faster. Either to prevent me from running it dry or because the driving habits changed that much in the interim. Still only 13.3g for my last tank.

I think maybe something is off also. Scouts Honor, I have not added any gas. My conclusion is the dealer filled up the tank past the first click. We will see in a few days. I am driving 75 highway miles or so today and will fill up in the next few days. My method is to go to the first click, wait a few seconds then fill to the next dollar. Which is about a 1/4 of a gallon or less these days.:( Then I am finished.

Hand caluculation was 47.4 MPG The gas price includes 90¢ in grocery store discounts. 80¢ worth (.3 gal) added after first click to round up to nearest dollar.

man i must have the heaviest foot around as i only average 33.5 MPG! granted I have larger A/T tires and mainly do freeway driving, but the difference between what some of you are averaging and what I'm getting is staggering. i mean 46mpg?? that's higher than the EPA estimates so you must be driving in school zones only!

I haven't been great about the math overall, but it seems the onboard computer is doing a pretty good job of keep the MPGs in check. I'm getting 39.5 according to it, and when I fill up and compare the added gasoline to the trip miles it's pretty much spot on, give or take a couple tenths of a mile.
I do probably 80% highway driving, and the majority of trips have been under 16 miles (commute).

The 46 mpg tank was my 1 st tank, which had a lot of country roads, across the metro trips under 45 mph. and stop and go. On that tank there was very little 70 MPH driving.

After that fill I hit the interstate into a 15-20mph headwind. The return trip was in calm winds. When I got back my MPG meter for the new tank read 38.2 MPG for 120 or so miles. Since then it is up to 38.9 mpg after a couple of short <2 miles each way trips.

You are doing good if you have heavier AT tires and mostly highway. You didn't mention your normal highway driving speed. On my Maverick the difference between 65 and 70 mph is about 3 mpg on the same flat stretch that is a couple miles long.

I average around 47 mpg. And get 600+ tank. I've only filled her up twice and she just went over 2k. I will be needing gas in the next couple of days. I'm not even about to do the math lol
