Hi all , I am curious as to how CP360 works. Does it use cameras , radar or some other way. Is there an issue as to where you can place an ezpass transponder? How does it perform on the road? Larier Lux Thanks

CP360 is a lot of things and varies over trim and base vehicle. It can involve anything from radar to light sensors to cameras (Which are technically light sensors but you get my drift).

I have XL CP360 and at the very least I have radar on my sides and a light sensor pointed forward. I'm not 100% sure how lane assists worked - My guess is light sensors monitoring for reflective paint, but I haven't put that much effort into it.

I can't think of why any of that would interfere with EZpass.

How they work varies from person to person. Some people despise all the features. Blind spot monitoring has been a godsend for me in parking lots, and I think the lane assist is neat.

Thanks, I am asking because my wife's Forrester is picky where you put the easy pass tag. It uses cameras. I really like the blind spot monitoring on this. It has a light on the mirror when a vehicle is next to you.

Just don't cover the camera! It's located above the mirror.
