Left the Area 51 club (‘22) and joined the hot pepper red club (‘23) this week. Had window tint done today!

Same here but went from the '22 Area 51 XLT to '23 Pepper Lariat glad I did the upgrade and the dealer paid for the upgrade 7 grand more for trade than I paid with 21000 miles!

Weirdest thing...I've had two different people tell me they saw the "burgundy colored" Maverick around town. BURGUNDY?! I've yet to actually spy an HPR Mav where I live, mine is being built in a couple weeks, but now I'm getting nervous about it being burgundy! I know on this color in particular the lighting changes it dramatically -- orange in bright daylight, dark red if overcast. But I don't want no burgundy truck, lol! Hoping I just have color-challenged friends....

I've seen several HPR Mavericks in person and have never once thought they looked burgundy.

Yes, thanks. I think I either have color-blind friends, or they both saw it on overcast days. But I've seen an HPR Ranger on an overcast day, and it did not look burgundy to me. At all. But weird still that two people independently called it that.

They're the same people that look at something that's light brown, and call it chartreuse

My23 Alto Blue Lariat Hybrid will not be built. Ordered a new MY24 in Atlas Blue (Alto Blue cancelled). My wife and I just saw a HPR (Hot Pepper Red) in a parking lot today. First time I saw one. She loves it. How does everyone think it looks with the Lariat Navy Blue/Desert interior. I kind of like the HPR too. I'm also now leaning toward HPR.
Any opinions ??
